Zachary Hunter has been with the Bing Center for over seven years and has worked on multiple organizational and scientific projects during that time. His current research involves characterizing the role of IgG and IgA deficiency in Waldenstom’s Marcoglobulinemia, functional and clinical correlation analysis of mRNA and miRNA expression, and examining the clinical and genetic characteristics of families with a history of WM and other B-cell disorders. He holds a BA in mathematics from Haverford College, a MA in Pathology from Boston University, and is enrolled in a Ph.D. program in the Department of Pathology at the Boston University School of Medicine. He is doing his thesis research with the Bing Center under Drs. Steven Treon of Dana-Farber and Christopher Andry of Boston University.
