Phil first joined the Bing Center for WM in late 2003 as a volunteer. He developed a software application that automated the manual data collection processes to support our various research projects, resulting in a 90% reduction of the data collection time required for these projects. He also maintained the Bing Center websites to support previous and upcoming conferences and research efforts. Since joining the staff in 2009, he continues to maintain existing websites, develop new websites and software applications, as well as provide specialized technical support for the research staff where needed. He also provides project management for our bi-annual Patient & Physician Summits and WMWorkshops in the areas of graphics design, program books & other printed materials, conference A/V and keeping the presentations running smoothly.
Phil has over 30 years of experience in the high tech industry as a software developer and project manager, particularly in the telecommunications area. He has a BS in Systems Engineering from Boston University, and holds a patent for the design of a digital teleconferencing system. He and his wife Kathy currently reside in Methuen, MA, and enjoy visiting with their three “kids”, Steve, Marissa, and Matt.
